The #NewNorm Summit:

The Top 4 Methods Project Managers are Using to Implement Change and Drive Results

by David Nour

More and more, Project Managers are charged with understanding sophisticated business problems, motivating teams to find solutions, leading change that lasts, and generating bottom-line results. As if that weren’t difficult enough, they must perform under unrealistic deadlines, with imperfect communications, under continually changing mandates, while competing for resources. This isn’t a temporary crisis; it is simply the New Norm.

Jennifer Bridges and David Nour have partnered with leading authors and professional speakers from their portfolio of relationships to present four inter-related 90-minute sessions. Each presentation will build participants’ knowledge and the skills to apply that learning:

  • In Adaptive Innovation, David Nour. CEO of the Nour Group, reveals the connection between strategic relationships and agility in creating innovations that deliver unique, sustainable market value.
  • In Getting Change Right, Seth Kahan, President of Visionary Leadership, presents seven precepts that lead to successful, authentic change achieved through engagement and connection.
  • In Breakthrough Innovation, Roger Young, Senior Partner at Excelsior Consulting Group, will talk about aligning culture, innovation strategy and talent to catapult organizations into new markets, expose them to new customer bases, and provide exponential growth opportunities.
  •  In Leading So People Will Follow, Erika Andersen, founding partner, Proteus International, will share the six leadership characteristics that inspire followers to fully support their leaders.

Each topic builds on one underlying premise: Organizations that leverage the value of their strategic relationships will generate more innovative solutions with greater chance of being successfully implemented. When done well, innovation strengthens relationships, which strengthen innovation capacity, in a virtuous cycle that generates transformational, not merely incremental, results.

The #NewNormSummit provides Project Managers a comprehensive learning experience designed to help them understand key principals and implement proven techniques resulting in ultimate success at any level.  The four presentations build on the interrelated themes of strategic relationships and successful innovation.  Participants will complete this course with 4 new methods to thrive in the “New Norm.”
