  4. Practical case examples within the book plus exercises to expand practical thinking on these concepts in the companion workbook

  6. The learner can also choose to expand their learning through additional resources contained in the workbook
  7. The learner that completes this course will have a vault of leadership ideas to implement in the workplace immediately.

BUSINESS

  1. This course presents the concept of framing business challenges and their solutions with a practical business model – a triangle. The learner should gain specific understanding of framing business ideas from this course.
  2. This course presents the concept of practical follow through and provides ideas for the leader-manager to utilize immediately in the work. The learner should gain techniques on follow through from this course.
  3. This course offers learning as it pertains to observation skills and practical techniques for the leader-manager to use in the work. The learner should gain greater understanding of employing observation skills in various business environments.
  4. This course presents the concept of building business teams and/or project teams that practice candor and openness as a business principle.  The learner should gain greater understanding and helpful techniques to build synergistic teams around the principle of candor.

  7. This course presents the concept for leaders called resiliency. The learner will engage with the concept of strength that is acquired through struggle and how to apply resilience to leadership.
  8. This course addresses the power of influence and defines it as a core competency of leadership. The learner will examine and be able to practically apply this principle of leadership called influence.
  9. This course presents the idea and philosophy of altruism as a leadership core competency. The learner will be challenged to consider altruism as a way to lead others.

  1. This course addresses the experience of transitioning in career, life and a project management. The learning will gain greater understanding of what transitions can mean and how to apply this knowledge to tactical project management.
